This could be a one off observation but probably is not. This Indian manager working in a software company in middle management treats his subordinates pretty much using the tenets of the caste system. He also likes to be addressed as "Sir" by his folks, what a piece of croc. But the same dude when spending time in the US during assignments acts like a tame animal sucking up to the goras. Why do many Indian managers have the a'hole tag branded in them? Again, am not sure if this is as prevelant as I think it is, but this a'hole is one I got to observe. I think that these guys assume power and abuse it cos they can and most times this behaviour goes unfettered in India. The people working for a'holes like him should speak up and know their rights and I wish I could punch a few of these a'holes in their faces.
