Unfair fairness creams
What"s the deal with fairness creams in India?? This concept of selling a product to make a person"s skin (only the face) lighter is ridiculous. I would probably accept a sunblock product but not something that would make you fair, white or light. These products supposedly will get you better opportunities in life and the ads also suggest that one can get lucky with the "fairer" sex. The guys" version of the product and the ad are ridiculous. What are these brand managers and ad people smoking? Is the Indian male really this vain and insecure that he has to use a skin lightener to succeed. The women are certainly targeted even more aggresively and the ad blatantly conveys a message of inferiority to the women of a darker skin tone. I also heard that these products are pushed even more aggresively down south where there are more darker skinned people. News Flash: The fairness creams cannot make a pitch black skin tone any lighter. Be happy with who you are!!! and for the guys, a piece of advice; the darker guys get laid more often, so say no to fairness creams.
